Medical examiner identifies man found face down in Hilton lagoon

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a 74-year-old visitor from China, who was found face down in the lagoon at Hilton Hawaiian Village Tuesday afternoon.

The medical examiner identified the man as Xilin Ou, of Beijing,

 Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said beachgoers found the man at about 11:45 a.m. and brought him to to shore, where CPR was initiated by beachgoers. Lifeguards arrived at the scene by rescue watercraft and took over CPR until paramedics arrived and continued advanced life-saving treatment before taking the man to an emergency room in critical condition. 

The medical examiner reports he died at the hospital.
