Three people were seriously injured Friday evening when a tour bus collided with a sport utility vehicle in the parking lot of the Honolulu Zoo.
The incident occurred at 7:24 p.m.
Emergency scanner transmissions indicated that at least one person in the SUV was trapped and had to be extricated.
A 64-year-old man, 18-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were all transported in serious condition to a local trauma center.
None of the 32 passengers on the bus reported injury, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
