Hawaii island police partially closed Route 19 in north Hilo today because of a motor vehicle crash.
Police said one or more people were transported to the hospital, and the road was closed near Alae Cemetery for cleanup. The time of the crash was not available. One lane was open at about 4:30 p.m., police said.
