Marcus Vick charged with drug possession in Virginia
Newport News, Va. » The brother of quarterback Michael Vick is facing a drug charge after being arrested in Virginia.
Multiple news outlets report that police say 32-year-old Marcus Vick was arrested Saturday in Newport News and charged with one count of possession of a schedule I or II drug following a search of his apartment.
Police went to the scene after receiving a drug complaint. Authorities say officers smelled marijuana coming from the apartment as they approached.
Police say Marcus Vick opened the door and allowed officers inside. Vick and four others in the apartment were detained.
Earlier this year, Marcus Vick was charged with assaulting a police officer who was arresting him on a contempt charge in Virginia.
It’s unclear if Marcus Vick has an attorney.

This is top news ???? I had no idea who Marcus Vick is. I do know that Victor Stanislaus was arrested in Geedunk Arkansas for dui. That is top news too but didn’t cut the mustard I guess.
This is a like any news story released by the AP. In the bottom blurb breaking news section, they sort it according to release time, not by importance.
Shocking!! Feel let down by the media that the earlier contempt charge and arrest for assaulting a police officer. Want to know ALL the news on Marcus Vick (who I never heard of before).
Marijuana being used in the privacy of a home. Really? Alcohol is responsible for causing people to become belligerent and violent. Alcohol causes way more deaths than Marijuana ever will, but that drug is okay with the law.
