Alfred Failauga, Waipahu
The freshman running back rushed for a career-
high 194 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-23 win over Kalani on Saturday to clinch a top-two seed in the OIA Division II playoffs for the Marauders. Failauga leads the state with 866 rushing yards in eight games with 11 touchdowns, averaging 108.3 yards per game.

Lancen Kuni, Waialua
The Bulldogs senior caught two touchdown passes and returned a fumble 34 yards for a score on defense in a 33-8 win over McKinley on Saturday. The victory clinched Waialua’s second straight OIA D-II playoff berth. Kuni had five receptions for 56 yards and opened the game with a 33-yard touchdown reception before scoring from 8 yards out in the third quarter.
