The University of Hawaii men’s golf team finished tied for 19th after Sunday’s final round of the Kaanapali Classic in Lahaina.
Skye Inakoshi and Cameron Kaneko both finished tied for 50th at 4-over 217 for the Rainbow Warriors. Hawaii finished with a three-round total of 878. Hawaii Hilo, led by Taylor Patrick’s 8-over 221, was last at 908.
Clemson’s Doc Redman topped the leaderboard at 15-under 198. Clemson won the team title with a three-round total of 826, one stroke ahead of Georgia.
Chaminade volleyball sweeps UH Hilo
Emma Tecklenburg had a team-high 14 kills as the Silverswords defeated the Vulcans in straight sets, 28-26, 25-23, 25-14, on Saturday at McCabe gym.
Kim Spring had nine kills and 14 digs for Chaminade (14-11 overall, 8-8 PacWest Conference). Marley Strand-Nicolaisen led UH Hilo (9-12, 7-9) with 19 kills.
