Police are looking for three men in their 30s who allegedly robbed three people in their 60s Wednesday evening after crashing their get-together in McCully.

Police said the men entered a social gathering at 5:05 p.m., wielding a dangerous instrument, and took property from two men, ages 62 and 64, and a 67-year-old woman.

The suspects face arrest on suspicion of first-degree robbery.

  • No description of the robbers and what type of weapon except dangerous instrument..i.e. Gun, knife, baseball bat?….and what kind of property taken from victims….purse, money, jewelry?….

  • Terrible these young dudes taking advantage of Senior Citizens, who really can’t defend themselves. Junk article; would be good to at least have some basic descriptions of the suspects so that the public can be notified and perhaps report possible suspects… Can’t let these social garbage types run amuck freely.

    • I don’t think it’s poor writing or poor reporting. The article was probably written based on information available at that time. Bad reporting is if SA does not follow up with a more thorough article. I would like to know where in McCully this occurred i.e. street name, etc. and I always wondered what a dangerous instrument was. bumbye, your reply was very funny.

  • In their minds the risk is worth the temporary reward. IF they are caught they pass through a weak Judicial system which they can exploit with an apology and crocodile tears in court. The elderly victims are scarred forever with no restitution whatsoever. Hopefully what goes around comes around.
