A 20-year-old man has been charged for allegedly snatching a lanyard off an employee at the Salvation Army store in Waipahu.

Jarrick Amadeo has been charged with second-degree theft and is in custody on $11,000 bail.

At approximately 8:33 a.m. Thursday at the store located on Waipahu Street, police said Amadeo got into an argument with a 42-year-old woman who works at the store.

He then shoved her and snatched her lanyard that she was wearing around her neck, police said. No injuries were reported.

Police arrived at the store and arrested Amadeo.
