Hawaii volleyball sweeps Grand Canyon

Sophomore hitter Stijn van Tilburg put down 15 kills and No. 6 Hawaii improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2003 when sweeping Grand Canyon, 26-24, 25-21, 25-23 in a nonconference men’s volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Freshman hitter Austin Matautia added 13 kills and sophomore libero Larry Tuileta 12 digs for the Rainbow Warriors against the Antelopes (1-2). Shalev Saada and Ashton King each had seven kills for Grand Canyon.

The teams meet again on Friday at 7 p.m.
