Argument over Kalihi parking stall leads to robbery arrest

Police arrested a 37-year-old man after he allegedly stole property from a 55-year-old man following an argument over a parking stall in Kalihi.

The argument occurred at about 5 p.m. Thursday. During the argument, the suspect used “physical force” and took property from the victim, police said. However, police declined to say what type of item or items the suspect took from the victim.

The 55-year-old man suffered minor abrasions and pain to his upper torso.

Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of second-degree robbery. He remains in custody as police continue their investigation.
