>> State Rep. Sean Quinlan (D, Waia- lua-Kahuku-Waiahole) voted against House Bill 349, which would extend the general excise tax surcharge for rail. A Page B1 story Thursday said the House Transportation Committee unanimously advanced the measure.

>> The reader who submitted the “Auwe” in Thursday’s Kokua Line on Page B2 cited the Waialae Avenue onramp onto H-1 westbound, not eastbound, as an example of merge lanes.

>> The teppanyaki program at Nobu Honolulu features the restaurant’s chefs working off the Nobu menu. A “Bite Size” item on Page 7 of Wednesday’s Crave section referred to the involvement of The Itoh Group and called it Itoh Dining.
