Today: U.S. stock and bond markets are closed for Presidents’ Day. Tuesday: Matson Inc., The Home Depot Inc., Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Macy’s Inc. release financial results.

Wednesday: National Association of Realtors releases existing home sales for January. Federal Reserve releases minutes from January interest-rate meeting.

Germany’s Ifo institute releases its monthly business confidence index, a key indicator for Europe’s biggest economy.

Tesla releases financial results.

Thursday: Labor Department releases weekly jobless claims. Freddie Mac, the mortgage company, releases weekly mortgage rates. Spanish energy company Repsol releases financial results.

Friday: Commerce Department releases new home sales for January. JC Penney Co. and taxpayer-owned Royal Bank of Scotland release financial results.
