HPD searching for suspect in Moiliili robbery
Police were searching this morning for a man who robbed two people walking in Moiliili.
The victims, a 29-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, were walking home at about 2:15 a.m. when the suspect stopped his vehicle alongside the curb and got out with a weapon, police said.
He demanded the victims’ property, then got back into his vehicle with their property and drove away.
No one was hurt. Police opened a first-degree robbery investigation.
