The 18-year-old male driver of an allegedly stolen vehicle intentionally crashed into two Honolulu police vehicles in the Pearl City area Tuesday, police said.

Police stopped the vehicle at 1:09 a.m. following a traffic violation. A license plate check showed that the vehicle had been stolen, police said.

The driver struck the police vehicles while attempting to flee, police said. He then fled on foot but was arrested for investigation of several counts, including two counts of criminal property damage, police said.

Three other occupants were arrested for investigation of unauthorized entry into a moving vehicle.
