  • U.S. Olympic gymnast Simone Biles waves to photographers at The Hollywood Reporter’s 25th Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast in Los Angeles in 2016. ABC announced today that Biles is a cast member on the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

When “Good Morning America” revealed the new cast of “Dancing With the Stars” today, spitfire Charo took over.

The entertainer danced round her fellow celebrities and moved into the audience, where she showed dynamic moves with a lucky gentleman.

When “DWTS” returns March 20, Olympic gold-medal gymnast Simone Biles should have the edge. She lucked out in the partner department: She is paired with nice-guy Sasha Farber.

Another good sign: Reigning “DWTS” champ Laurie Hernandez, a fellow gymnast, showed up on “GMA” to encourage Biles.

Charo will dance with Keo Motsepe.

The other celebrities and their partners:

>> “Bachelor” star Nick Viall with two-time champ Peta Murgatroyd. “The Bachelor” concludes its season March 13 on ABC.

>> Former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Chris Kattan with former champ Witney Carson.

>> Rodeo star Bonner Bolton with Sharna Burgess. She had a strong run last season with race car driver James Hinchcliffe, who placed second to Hernandez.

>> Olympic ice skater Nancy Kerrigan with Artem Chigvintsev.

>> Actor Mr. T with two-time winner Kym Johnson. She now goes by Kym Herjavec because she married “DWTS” partner Robert Herjavec, a star of ABC’s “Shark Tank.”

>> Normani Kordei of Fifth Harmony with two-time winner Val Chmerkovksiy.

>> Actress-dancer Heather Morris of “Glee” with former champ Maks Chmerkovskiy. Her dance skill makes her a strong contender.

>> Erika Jayne of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” with Gleb Savchenko.

>> NFL player Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater.

>> Former Major League Baseball player David Ross with Lindsay Arnold.

With a football player, a baseball player, a skater, a bull rider and a gymnast, “Dancing With the Stars” could have more skilled dancing than usual. The athletes tend to perform well under the pressure-filled conditions.
