HFD rescues two hikers along Maunawili Falls Trail
Honolulu Fire Department rescue personnel assisted two hikers lost along the Maunawili Falls Trail on Sunday.
The man and woman called for help shortly after 7 p.m. and HFD responded with four fire companies staffed with 12 personnel.
The firefighters located the hikers around 7:39 p.m. and escorted them to the trail head within 10 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
