Hawaii completed its first four-game sweep of a nonconference opponent in three years with a 6-5 victory over Sacred Heart this afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

Three relievers combined to hold the Pioneers (5-9) scoreless over the final 3 1/3 innings to help Hawaii (10-5) match its best 15-game start to the season in five years with its sixth consecutive win.

Marcus Doi went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Dylan Vchulek was 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and RBI to lead UH, which finished with nine hits.

Kyle Mitchell (1-1) allowed two hits over two scoreless innings of relief with two strikeouts to earn the win. Casey Ryan struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save.

Up next for the Rainbow Warriors is a four-game series at home against Indiana beginning Wednesday.
