A pair of south swells has prompted weather officials to post a high surf advisory for the south shores of all islands through Saturday.

Surf in the 5- to 8-foot range is expected to roll in to the south shores of all islands through 6 a.m. Saturday.

“Beachgoers, swimmers and surfers should heed all advice given by ocean safety officials and exercise caution,” the National Weather Service said in an advisory.
