Former Hawaii defensive back Dejaun Butler was invited to a minicamp with the New Orleans Saints.

Former Warrior defensive back Dejaun Butler has been invited to compete in the New Orleans Saints’ minicamp this weekend, his agent told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser today.

Butler is set to arrive in NOLA today.

He will compete as a defensive back and on special teams. Butler played cornerback, nickelback and safety during his two seasons with the Rainbow Warriors. Butler transferred from Santa Monica College to UH in August 2015.

Butler did well at UH’s pro day at Azusa, Calif., in March.
