Will actress Grace Park be leaving “Hawaii Five-0” after seven seasons? Her character, Kono Kalakaua, seems ready to move on after a case involving sex trafficking of young girls. She is seen here withCapt. Lou Grover (Chi McBride).

The seventh season of “Hawaii Five-0” has been full of changes, and it seems more will be coming in tonight’s season finale airing at 8 p.m. on CBS.

For several episodes, McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and the Five-0 task force have been working very hard to put a sex-trafficking ring permanently out of business. Team member Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park) has been especially affected by the case, and there’s every indication tonight’s episode, titled “Ua mau ke ea o ka ʻaina i ka pono” (“The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness”), will cause her to make a life-changing decision.

The ranks of the Five-0 ohana have shifted this year with the addition of two team members. Special consultant Jerry Ortega (Jorge Garcia) is now a fully badged member of the task force, and Dr. Noelani Cunha (played by Hawaii actress Kimee Balmilero) is the new medical examiner, replacing series regular Masi Oka, who left the show in January.

Still, change doesn’t always have to be bad. Abby Dunn (Julie Benz), a San Francisco police inspector and girlfriend of Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), returns for the finale. Last week, Chin hinted he was ready to make their relationship “official.” The only drama behind the couple’s future is that Abby’s boss, Robert Coughlin (Ingo Rademacher) offered Chin his own “Five-0”-type task force in San Francisco.

McG’s partner Detective Danny Williams (Scott Caan) returns after being absent last week, and rounding out the team is the affable but imposing Capt. Lou Grover (Chi McBride). The finale has McGarrett risking his life as Five-0 works to rescue more of the trafficked girls.

Don’t miss the major stunt sequence that caused a two-day closure of H-3 in March.
