>> Ben Finney, a University of Hawaii professor emeritus and Polynesian Voyaging Society co-founder, received his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, a master’s degree at UH and a doctorate at Harvard University. His obituary on Page B7 Thursday reported his undergraduate degree was from UH.

>> Deputy Prosecutor Chasid Sapolu requested former Honolulu police officer Alan Ahn serve up to 10 years in jail for his conviction on multiple drug charges. A Page B2 story Wednesday said Sapolu requested Ahn serve 10 years.
