Ratterman died of multiple blunt force injuries in the crash on Kalaeloa Boulevard early Saturday, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police said he was traveling east on the H-1 freeway at about 1:15 a.m. He exited onto the Campbell Industrial Park offramp at “a high rate of speed” and lost control as he turned right onto Kalaeloa Boulevard.

Police said Ratterman traveled across a grassy median and struck a vehicle operated by a 28-year-old woman traveling northbound on Kalaeloa Boulevard.
