Two men are in custody after one of them allegedly stabbed a man near the Pagoda Hotel Saturday night.

Police said 66-year-old Pedro Tampon was arrested for suspicion of second-degree assault, a Class C felony and 40-year-old Richard Tampon is in custody for hindering prosecution, a Class C felony.

EMS said the 29-year-old man who was stabbed was taken to Queen’s Medical Center. He was transported from the Pagoda Hotel at 9:51 p.m. Saturday in serious condition.

A 50-year-old man was treated by paramedics for lacerations on his hand. He refused to be taken to the hospital.

HPD said the case is pending investigation.
