Hyundai’s new SUV named after Hawaii island locale

Hyundai Motor Group unveiled its newest compact SUV named Kona on Tuesday in Seoul.

Kona, named after the district on the Big Island, is stylish and made for customers “who pursue challenging, action-filled lifestyles.” Sales will start in South Korea this summer, followed by North America and Europe. An electric version will be released next year.

Hyundai continues to name its cars after travel destinations such as Santa Fe, N.M.; Veracruz, Mexico; and Tucson. The automaker was the main sponsor of the PGA Tournament of Champions at Kapalua, Maui, from 2011 to 2016.

>> Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Kyun-woo searches for the woman with a face sketch to no avail. He runs into Da-yun and they have tea together. There, the woman appears before him, accusing him of being a pervert and asking him to return her jade ring. He is caught off-guard at her audacity, but to top it off, he finds out she’s a princess.

>> Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: After Ji-wook and Bong-hee kiss, he says he’ll wait for her until she’s ready to come to him. Hyun-soo and Chan-ho fight on a bridge.

>> Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Bong-hee tries hard to push Ji-wook away but cannot hide her laughter. Meanwhile, Eun-hyuk takes charge of the couple murder case, and prepares the number secretively.

>> Friday, 7:45 p.m.: The grapevine churns with a rumor the chairman’s son has started as an intern. Dal-hee, with an ulterior motive, gets the list of new interns. Hong-shi tags alone with Deul-re on a visit to Ruby Cosmetics.

>> Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Eun-hyang sets out to take revenge on her ex-husband. With help from Chairman Geum, Eun-hyang approaches Tae-soo with ease. She throws him bait he can’t refuse.
