Man arrested after he allegedly chokes wife in Waimanalo
Police arrested a 55-year-old man after he allegedly choked his 53-year-old wife in Waimanalo.
At about 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, police said the suspect choked the victim after they got involved in an argument. He then used the victim’s sweater she was wearing and choked her, causing her to lose consciousness.
Police said the victim regained consciousness when the suspect slapped her in the face.
Police responded shortly afterward and arrested the 55-year-old man on suspicion of abuse of a family or household member.
