Albatross killings at Kaena Point were slaughters of innocents

    A curious Laysan albatross at Midway Atoll checks out the photographer’s camera. Albatrosses are gentle creatures, used to humans, and wouldn’t necessarily suspect harm being inflicted upon them, as happened in a 2015 incident at Kaena Point Natural Area Reserve.
