A 24-year-old woman has been charged for allegedly locking up a woman in a storage unit in Honolulu.

Melody K.H.K. Pastor was charged Sunday with unlawful imprisonment in the second-degree, abuse of a family or household member, and interference with reporting an emergency or crime. Her bail was set at $3,000.

At about noon Saturday, police said Pastor physically abused the victim, also 24, and locked her in a storage unit. She alllegedly broke the victim’s phone to prevent her from calling 911. Police said Pastor and the victim are in a relationship.

Police located Pastor at Public Storage at 1067 Kapiolani Boulevard and arrested her shortly afterward.
