State sheriffs located a 32-year-old inmate today after she was reported missing a week ago from a job site in Kaneohe.

Deputy sheriffs of the Sheriff Division Special Operations Section-Fugitive Unit located Leinette Reyes in Nanakuli at 9 a.m.

The Department of Public Safety said she was reported missing on June 19 from a headcount at a job site.

Reyes is part of a crew of the Women’s Community Correctional Center assigned to weed cutting.

She is serving time for promoting a dangerous drug in the third-degree, prohibited acts related to drug paraphernalia and bail jumping in the first degree. The public safety department said her sentence was to end February.

Reyes now faces an escape charge.
