Police shut down part of Vineyard Boulevard between Palama Street and Pua Lane to fix a broken water main.

All lanes of North Vineyard Boulevard reopened this afternoon after a water main that broke Thursday was repaired.

The roadway was closed between Palama Street and Pua Lane after a 12-inch main break was reported about 4:30 p.m. Thursday. It reopened by 2:45 p.m. today.

Police reopened the Vineyard eastbound off-ramp from H-1 at 10 a.m. after closing it at 2 a.m. while repairs continued.

The road closures clogged traffic and altered bus routes Thursday and today.
