Driver arrested with drug paraphernalia in stolen vehicle in Waimanalo

A 41-year-old man pulled over for a traffic stop in Waimanalo this morning was arrested on a $50,000 contempt of court warrant and for investigation of driving a stolen vehicle and promoting dangerous drugs in the third degree.

The man was stopped at 2:58 a.m. today and arrested at 3:05 a.m. The vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen and officers found drug paraphernalia containing drug residue, police said.

The suspect was arrested and was in custody today.
