Palolo District Park pool reopens
The pool facility at Palolo Valley District Park reopened this morning following repairs to the neighboring shower room building, according to the state Department of Parks and Recreation.
Palolo District Park’s 50-meter pool had been closed since April 10 for the $448,770 renovation project to re-roof and repair water damage to the gym, weight room, and pool shower building.
The pool will be open to the public from 9:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. It will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. weekends and holidays.
The park’s gym and weight room, meanwhile, remain closed.
