Prosecutors charged a 35-year-old man for allegedly assaulting Emergency Medical Services workers on Tuesday in Chinatown.

Kaybo Nosa was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and on a $500 contempt warrant, police said Wednesday. His bail was set at $15,000.

Police said officers were already on the scene at 5:35 p.m. when Nosa allegedly assaulted a 34-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man who were performing duties as EMS personnel. The officers arrested Nosa on suspicion of second-degree assault.
