Tuesday: Commerce Department releases housing starts for August. Commerce Department releases current account trade deficit for the second quarter. Federal Reserve policymakers begin a two-day meeting to set interest rates. FedEx Corp. reports quarterly financial results.

Wednesday: National Association of Realtors releases existing home sales for August. Federal Reserve policymakers meet to set interest rates.
