A 25-year-old man who left the Hawaii State Hospital in Kaneohe this morning is back in custody.
Rhegan Kinoshita was arrested at 1:05 p.m. in Kaneohe, police said.
Kinoshita was reported missing from the hospital at 10:55 a.m. today, the state Department of Public Safety said. He was described as 5-foot-9, about 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a beige t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
Kinoshita was committed to the state hospital in June in lieu of prosecution of third-degree assault, according to court records.
