The Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 22-year-old man in connection with the Sept. 20 shooting death of a 34-year-old man.
Tiseya Puapuaga is wanted on suspicion of second-degree murder, according to CrimeStoppers. Police said Puapuaga shot Isaac Mamea multiple times with a handgun as Mamea sat outside Maunakea Liquor & Grocery in Chinatown around 11:45 p.m.
Police recovered the white Toyota Matrix that Puapuaga allegedly used to flee the scene.
Puapuaga is described as Samoan, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 350 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Chinatown, Aala Park and Keeaumoku areas. He also has ties to Northern California and previously lived in Sacramento.

Suspect held in attempted murder case
A 40-year-old Kailua man, indicted by an Oahu grand jury for allegedly drowning his dog and attempting to kill his girlfriend, was taken into custody Friday.
Harry Martin Lewis was indicted on second-degree attempted murder, first-degree terroristic threatening and first-degree cruelty to animals. His bail was set at $1 million.
He is being held at the Oahu Community Correctional Center
Lewis is scheduled to appear Thursday in Circuit Court.
Lewis allegedly tried to drown his 42-year-old girlfriend Sunday after drowning his dog at his Kailua house.
He was arrested Sunday night and was charged Tuesday, and Lewis posted bail, which was initially set at $250,000.
