Police opened two attempted murder investigations this weekend after one man was shot near Ala Moana and another man was dropped off at an Ewa hospital with stab wounds.

At about 1 a.m. Saturday a male was arguing with three males on Hopaka Street, Ewa of Ala Moana Center, when he shot at the other people, police said. One of the victims, a man in his 20s, was injured but was in good to fair condition, police said.

The suspect fled. Police opened a first-degree attempted murder investigation because the suspect shot at more than one person, police said.

At about 4:30 a.m. two unknown males dropped off a man with multiple stab wounds at the Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu. The victim, a man in his 20s, was in critical condition and remained in the ICU on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Details of the two other males or of the victim were not available. Police opened a second-degree attempted murder investigation.
