Water main break closes Kaneohe road
More than 200 homes were without water today because of a water main break that closed Lilipuna Road in Kaneohe.
About 4 p.m., crews were still working to repair the 16-inch main, the Board of Water Supply said.
A water wagon has been positioned at 45-350 Ka Hanahou Circle and a roving water wagon is also available for the 224 homes affected, the water supply said.
Affected customers can call 748-5000 ext. 1 to request the roving water wagon.
Repair work closed Lilipuna between Lilipuna Place and Ka Hanahou Circle. Repairs were expected to continue overnight and through tomorrow, the water supply said.
The break was reported about 6:30 a.m. today.
