Kim Baxter took this photo during a hike through the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. Baxter said, the trail summit is at Paintbrush Divide at 10,700 feet elevation with most of the 19 miles to the top through the snow. “An absolutely epic summer hike.”

John Young snapped this photo of his wife, Mary Bergmann, while riding camels around the Great Pyramid of Giza. Young said the Great Pyramid of Giza, “built in less than 30 years by employed Egyptians, not slaves, was the tallest structure in the world for 3,800 years. We also climbed through one of its elaborate tunnels. Amazing engineering!”
