Police: Man threatens Kapolei store employees during visit to see wife

Police arrested a 33-year-old man after he allegedly threatened employees at Kapolei Walmart.

At about 12:05 a.m. today, police said the suspect entered the establishment and demanded to see his wife who is a store employee.

When two other employees — two women ages 23 and 40 — refused, the suspect allegedly threatened them with bodily injury and threatened to damage property.

Police were called and the suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
