A man believed to be in his 40s or 50s died Friday after he was struck by a vehicle on Waipahu Depot Street near Farrington Highway.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m.

According to an Emergency Medical Services report, the man was apparently riding a skateboard when he was struck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
