Royal Hawaiian pastry chef Carolyn Portuondo crafted a foam frame for the dome of her gingerbread replica of the hotel. The foam was covered in sheets of gingerbread and pink chocolate, then trimmed in candies. Inside the dome is a bell that rings with a press of a button.
