Police arrested a 23-year-old woman after she allegedly threatened a city bus driver with a firearm in Pearl City.

Police arrested the suspect Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, interference with an operator of a public transit vehicle, second-degree theft and fourth-degree theft.

At about 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 6, police said the suspect and the bus driver, 58, got into an argument over the bus fare.

The woman began yelling profanities and threatened the bus driver. Police said she then exited the bus, brandished a firearm and pointed it at the driver.

The perpetrator then removed a passenger’s bicycle from the bus bike rack and fled.

Police located her in Pearl City Tuesday and arrested her.
