Hit-and-run crash in Makaha leaves 2 men dead

Many family and friends gathered at the crash site Tuesday. Victim Daniel Mole’s father, Richard Mole, in a white “Aloha” T-shirt; sister Maegan Mole, facing camera; and mother Raynette Mole, also facing camera, hugged those who stopped by.

Japhet Singnoth wiped away tears Tuesday as she visited a makeshift memorial set up along Farrington Highway in Makaha where Jonah Ragsdale and Daniel Mole were struck by a hit-and-run driver Monday night. Singnoth said she was Ragsdale’s classmate at Lahainaluna High School. Next to her is a friend, Taylor Trout.
