Walter E. Butler Jr., 24, has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman in Aiea.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman in Aiea.
Prosecutors charged Walter E. Butler Jr. Wednesday with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree theft. His bail is set at $500,000.
Police said the victim reported to police that a suspect later identified as Butler sexually assaulted her early Sunday. Butler and the woman are acquaintances.
Police arrested him at Wheeler Army Airfield in Wahiawa Tuesday afternoon.
