Mayor signs moratorium on ‘monster’ houses into law

    Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell signed Bill 110 on Tuesday, placing a moratorium of up to two years on the issuing of building permits for “monster” houses. Caldwell was flanked by City Council members Ikaika Anderson and Kymberly Pine.
