Hiker critically injured after falling 30 feet in Ahuimanu

Honolulu firefighters rescued a male hiker who fell roughly 30 feet while hiking on Ahuimanu Falls Trail on Oahu this morning.

At about 11 a.m. today, paramedics administered life-saving treatment on the unresponsive man, roughly in his 50s, at Ahuimanu Elementary School after bystanders had performed CPR. Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital in critical condition.
