Three people were injured — two critically — in two ocean-related incidents today at Kewalo Basin in Kakaako and Hanauma Bay.

At about 8 a.m., two men in their 40s were in a “diving accident” near Pier C at Kewalo Basin, an Emergency Medical Services report said.

One man was taken in critical condition to a hospital, while the second man was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Details on the accident were not available.

At about 12:30 p.m., a 56-year-old woman ran into trouble at Hanauma Bay and nearly drowned in shallow water, the report said.

Emergency responders took her to a hospital in critical condition.
