Hawaii island police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman whose image was captured on a surveillance camera in connection with a forgery investigation in Kau.

Police said a Caucasian female entered a business in Naalehu Town in Kau and used a counterfeit $50 bill to purchase items. She was last seen leaving the area in a silver sport utility vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact officer Clayton Tayamen of the Patrol Division, Kaʻu District at 939-2520 or the police non-emergency line at 935-3311.
