10 Hawaii restaurants named to OpenTable’s Best Al Fresco list

It’s no surprise when Hawaii restaurants show up on any list of notable outdoor-dining venues, and today, 10 such restaurants have made OpenTable’s 100 Best Al Fresco Restaurants in America in 2018.

Maui restaurants dominated the isle picks: Mama’s Fish House, The Mill House, Fleetwood’s on Front St., Duke’s Beach House, Hula Grill Kaanapali, Kimo’s Restaurant and Leilani’s on the Beach.

Also on the list were Oahu’s Hau Tree Lanai and Monkeypod Kitchen, and Kauai’s Keoki’s Paradise.

California restaurants dominated the list, with 30 selected. It was followed by Florida’s 26 picks. Hawaii’s 10 selections ranked it third among the 22 states represented.

The picks were determined from more than 12 million verified OpenTable diner reviews of more than 27,000 restaurants in 50 states and Washington, D.C., from May 1, 2017 to April 30.
