The Hawaii Ocean Expo highlighted traditional wayfinding when crew members of Hokule‘a and her sister ship Maka appeared at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall last weekend. The event includes seafood, ocean-themed jewelry and clothing and sporting goods, information booths on protecting Hawaii’s waters and a silent auction to benefit the Polynesian Voyaging Society.
